My latest article explores my research on humanitarian efforts in Syria by Muslim and Syrian Americans (MSAs) from 2012 to 2017. It explores how the responses of large, international non-profit NGOs, like the United Nations, allowed the Syrian government to weaponize humanitarian aid to create and exacerbate the suffering of Syrian civilians.
